The Marianum Auditorium is located in Rome on the Giancolo Promenade, in a green area just steps from the public parks of Villa Sciarra and Villa Pamphili. Close to the Vatican and less than a kilometer from the picturesque Trastevere neighborhood, it is easily reached from the outskirts via Via Aurelia and has private parking (address: Rome, Viale Trenta Aprile 6 and 16A).<\/em><\/p>\n Was inaugurated in 2016 and is perfectly suited to hosting events such as conferences, assemblies, and master classes. It seats 124 (plus the 5 chairs for the chair), covers a surface area of \u200b\u200b187 square meters and a volume of 715 cubic meters. Three booths with 6 simultaneous translation stations complete the space.<\/em><\/p>\n The room is equipped with comfortable fireproof seats, writing desks, and electrical outlets along the sides of each row. Artificial lighting can be adjusted to suit the needs of the event, featuring high-efficiency, low-consumption LED lamps, in keeping with the “everyday ecology” advocated by the encyclical \u201cLaudato si’\u201d. The air conditioning, managed by a computerized system, is operated by an air handling unit powered by heat pumps, which ensures constant temperature and humidity based on the number of people present, with air exchanged three times an hour.<\/em><\/p>\n Acoustic quality is ensured by a modern sound system, with fixed microphones located on the podium and the chair’s table, as well as a portable radio microphone. The acoustic quality is achieved by an integrated system of elegant wooden slats on the walls and acoustic ceiling panels. The auditorium is equipped with a video projector with a mobile screen that can be connected to a personal computer and an integrated sound system.<\/em><\/p>\n The auditorium is accessed through an entrance hall with a reception desk for event attendees. Nearby, there is also a refreshment room with a vending machine for hot drinks.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
